The Challenge

The lift shaft had low headroom and would not satisfy codes. The lift shaft structure was insecure, we worked with the structural engineer & VT Consultant to design a lift that would satisfy the requirement of the scheme.

The Solution

The new lift was designed in such a way as to ensure landing entrances aligned with existing structural openings in order to minimise structural works. The equipment installed was designed for 20-25 years reliable and robust service with future servicing and maintenance requirements at a minimum, all equipment is fully open protocol.

Key to the whole project was good communication to identify what we were doing to keep disturbances to a minimum and complete the project on time & on budget in line with client expectations.
