The Founding of Knowsley Lift Services

Tommy Murphy and Steve Fitzgerald, co-founders of Knowsley Lift Services, met while working at a Multi-National Lift Company in 1989. After years of technical training and industry experience, they launched Knowsley Lift Services in 1997. Initially, the company worked as a subcontractor for major lift companies before building its own customer base.

Establishing the Company’s Presence

In 2001, Knowsley Lift Services opened its first office in Liverpool’s Cotton Exchange. With a growing portfolio of service contracts and a focus on ISO accreditation, Knowsley Lift Services shifted from subcontracting to direct client service. Their commitment to high standards and customer satisfaction helped them grow a strong reputation in the industry.
