The Challenge

Design & install 8 new passenger lifts fully compliant to all safety standards in existing lift shafts across high rise tower blocks. The scope of works was to increase the number of floors by creating new landing entrances where there were none originally.

The Solution

This was a full turnkey project and we undertook the full responsibilities as Principal Contractor as relevant under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. The opening up of entrances to have both lifts serving each landing enabled the control panels to be configured to a Duplex system to enhance and maximise people flow.

The Afters

The equipment installed was designed for 20-25 years reliable with future servicing and maintenance requirements at a minimum. VVVF drive systems, enhanced door systems and advanced elevator technology will ensure the tenants have lifts they can rely upon.
