Shakespeare North Theatre

The Challenge

To design and install two new states of the art lifts for visitors and staff in the 360-seat theatre. We were appointed by Kier Construction to undertake the project in the £26 million pound landmark building.

The Solution

Working within the live environment during the construction of this unique building, we designed and installed two lifts in full compliance with the technical specifications and delivered them on time, on budget ready for the official opening. The project was a major driver for regeneration as well as broadening horizons and opportunities for local communities.

The Afters

The lifts have proven to be hugely important to the theatre, which sees over 100,000 visitors per year. Knowsley Lifts continue to be the maintainers and consistently deliver the same level of service and customer care seen throughout the successful installation.
